Aftersales Consultant – South Africa


Our client is looking for a dynamic aftersales consultant to join their thriving team in the automotive industry.
 
Purpose of the role:
Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to ensure a seamless service experience for their customers. The role involves fostering excellent communication among customers, parts, and service departments to achieve both customer satisfaction and financial goals.
 
Minimum requirements:

  • 2-3 years of experience as an aftersales consultant or in a related role.
  • Premium brand experience is a must.
  • Automotive industry background.
  • Grade 12 qualification.
  • Computer literacy, preferably with Autoline or Kerridge.
  • Valid driver’s license.

Duties (included but not limited to):

  • Confirming accurate customer details.
  • Determining payment methods.
  • Liaising with customers in case of warranty/motor plan issues.
  • Providing quotations for motor plan contracts where applicable.
  • Pre-assessing all bookings for the next day.
  • Offering customers a pre-assessment visit to confirm challenging problems.
  • Following up on parts orders and promptly informing customers of any delays.
  • Creating repair orders.
  • Arranging booking reminders.
  • Planning routes and ensuring driver availability on the day of service.
  • Ensuring clean and available loan vehicles for customers.
  • Maintaining accurate customer information.
  • Monitoring outstanding parts orders and unpaid invoices.
  • Confirming customer and vehicle details.
