Duties and responsibilities
Job brief:
As an experienced assistant store manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our store, ensuring the smooth running of operations to maximise the customer experience. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in retail management, a deep understanding of excellent customer service, and the ability to motivate personnel to perform at their best.
Responsibilities:
- Organise store operations and allocating responsibilities to personnel
- Supervise and guide staff towards maximum performance
- Training of staff
- Stock management and monitor of stock levels
- Maintaining excellent customer service
- Deal with complaints from customers to maintain excellent customer service
- Resolve any issues that might arise
- Plan and oversee in-store promotions and merchandising
- Ensure the store fulfils all legal health and safety guidelines
Desired experience, requirements and skills:
- Proven experience in the retail and or customer service sector
- Knowledge of retail and customer service best practices
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organising skills
- Knowledge of excellent customer service practices
- Computer literate
