Job Purpose
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government has an opportunity for
competent individual to render a service in electronic records management by ensuring the
scanning, maintenance and management of electronic files.

Minimum Requirements Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

Registry Clerks Course.

Key Performance Areas
Opening of physical and electronic files and maintenance of file covers; Correct and neat filing of documentation, including the maintenance of index pages in physical and electronic files; Assist the supervisor with allocation of refence numbers; Handle client enquiries, requests and pending of files; Assist with the administration of MyContent by adding folders and ensuring scanning of documents.

Competencies
A good understanding of the following: Registry operations; Records disposal programme; Proven computer literacy; Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; Basic knowledge of MS Office; Able to work independently and in a team, Good communication skills (verbal and written).

Remuneration
R 216 417 per annum (Salary level 5)
